The Ten Commandments and Religion in America

The ferocious soldiers of the Confederacy charged the Yankee lines at Gettysburg. So confident was General Lee that he stayed back away from the fight. When he heard a cheering, he asked what was happening. “There is some Union officer riding past his men,” was the reply. “Yes, I know why the cheer is made,” said Lee. “However, I had hoped it was for us.” Lee fought and lost because he did not know his enemy. He sent his men to be blown to smithereens from dozens of cannon Lee did not even know existed. Jeb Stuart took Lee’s cavalry, raided near Washington, and left Lee blind. You must know your enemy. You must stay with him, and not run here and there. There is no alternative.
Today, the army of religious people fighting the rising tide of secularism is confident in their large numbers, their growing media abilities, and the hope that decay of society must inevitably return them to power. Therefore, they do not bother knowing their enemy. The vast majority of those opposing a Gay Rights Bill do not bother reading it and studying it carefully. Consequently, they do not even know how to explain their position. The gays know how to explain their position. So great is the ignorance of the religious and family community, New York State regularly passes Gay Rights legislation by promising bald lies about what the legislation is intended to do. Nobody knows enough to contradict them.
This brings us back to the Ten Commandments in Alabama. People think the issue is whether a public building or courthouse may display the Ten Commandments. I wish that were the issue. The issue is much more than that. The secularists have an agenda. As with the Communists and Nazis who preceded them, the radicals clearly state what they plan to do. We are just not interested in listening. What do they want?
The secularists believe that biblical values are evil. They feel biblical values are not only immoral, but also sick. If you do not agree with the Gay Lobby, for any reason, you are not intellectually or morally wrong; you are a homophobe. You are sick, and they intend to treat you! Google will not advertise my site because, “If you oppose the gays, you are a hater.” I asked for evidence that I am a hater, but they were not interested in debating the point. If I feel that the HIV Confidentiality Laws spread AIDS, I am a “hater.” The radicals translate “hater” to be “homophobe,” or mentally ill. Mentally ill people, according to the radicals, should be helped by state coercion. And you religious homophobe hater thought the issue was a block of stone in a courthouse! What you really need is a regimen of hospitalization and medication. If that does not work, there is always what a senior psychiatrist has suggested, quarantine. Quarantine is locking a sick person to his bed so he cannot go out and infect society. The Gay Lobby is waiting for those of us who are “sick.” And we are fighting about the government taking out a slab of stone! We are “raiding Washington” while the enemy is loading the cannon that will blow us to pieces. That is why the radicals win battles. Even when they lose, they make points, and renew the battle on their terms.
Actually, the problem is even worse than this. The Gay Lobby has a secret weapon: its opponents! There was a radio show where a gay debated a family advocate. The family advocate spoke from the heart, and the gay was overjoyed. When his time to speak came, the gay said to his opponent, “Please keep on speaking.”
Enemies of radical secularism are entering a phase of frustration fraught with grievous danger for the family community. The great hope of the radicals is a religious and family person going off the deep end. This happened with the recently executed fanatic who murdered a doctor abortionist. Is this how to fight abortion? If you are angry enough, if you are frustrated to a certain point, something explodes. We are coming to this point now. Timothy McVeigh is not the only person in the world who feels that the government is evil and worthy of punishment.
We thus have a disastrous dance to the death between the left and the right. The left gains and the right despairs of the courts, executive, and legislative process. The right begins to say, as some have already, that we no longer owe our allegiance to the law, as it exists in America. The right begins to talk violent things, and eventually, somebody will act upon it. This is what the gays have been waiting for. They are a small group. If they can prove the family and religious element are murderers and dangerous, the government will take off the gloves with the family and religious element. This is our enemy’s great hope.
As things stands now, this seems almost inevitable. That is where things are headed. In fact, America is headed for chaos regardless of the moral issues. We are entering a phase of economic uncertainty that will encourage radicalism and further instability. Radicals of the left and of the right rejoice at such time. Don’t forget that in the twentieth century instability produced dictatorships in Europe’s major countries and turned the world upside down. It is not a farfetched thought. A lot depends on money and morality. We are not sure of stability in either dimension.
In our previous article, “Blackout of the dollar,” we challenged the optimistic statistics of the White House Budget regarding the Federal debt. Within a week of the publication of our article, the Congressional non-partisan accountants published their own findings, showing that the figures of the White House are completely wrong. However, the media did not pick up the rest of the story. The rest of the story is that we are headed for financial chaos. The only way we stay afloat now is because the central bank of China buys American bonds, or lends us money. Eventually, when the deficit in America rises to a certain point, the Chinese central bank may decide to put its money elsewhere. The Euro is getting stronger and the dollar is getting weaker. This could destroy the American economy. We thus are feeding China, our adversary, the very one who supplies our worst enemies with all types of weapons and support. We then spend billions to defend those threatened by China. We then borrow money from China to contain an unsustainable budget! Eventually, China will dictate its terms to us, and we will have to accept them. Of course, others lend us money, such as Saudis and Germans. Every day, as the American deficit grows, their power over us increases. And nobody even knows what is happening!
President Bush’s billionaire buddies make their money in China. China is taking jobs from America and manufacturing so that a recent study shows that manufacturing is declining to a dangerous level in America. China is expanding so rapidly that a huge business in cargo ships is sprouting for China to export its manufactures. Meanwhile, we import these goods and have fewer factories to export our own products. This creates an imbalance of payments as we send dollars out and do not have money coming in. The big companies use India for managing data and China to produce goods. There is little left for Americans. Eventually, a panic will hit the dollar and the stock market will suffer. However, long before the stock market suffers, people will suffer. Already, grim statistics are building regarding lay offs and employment. Bush wants billions here and billions there while the people who give him his huge campaign contributions build up China and destroy the lives of Americans.
We are at war for our jobs, our lives, our freedom, our religion, and our families. Let us know what is going on. And let us make sure that everybody else knows what is going on. If everybody knew, it will not happen. The Nazis, Communists, and secular radicals succeed only in the dark. If we shine some light, they will scurry away. If not, at least we will know what is happening while we walk to the slaughter.
If we really take the trouble to know what is happening, we may just cease our stupidities long enough to stop it.
