Put the TV in the Trash or Your Kids Will Be There

Newsmax.com quoted the Labor Day weekend New York Times that major television networks are going to introduce four-letter words and introduce new levels of blasphemy and nudity, etc., in the fall programming. This is blamed on viewer indifference to previous media deviancy from accepted moral standards.

Rabbi David Eidensohn, director of the National Non-Sectarian Council of Pro-Family Activists, declared, "Put the TV in the trash, or your kids. There is no way that children can have a television with such filth and remain unmoved. Providing for children's entertainment that tells them that what parents do and believe is not the real world is child-molestation. It consigns a child to suffer the bottomless pit of pleasure-seeking, one that ends with drugs, disease and dishonor." Rabbi Eidensohn noted that serious schools in the Orthodox community demand that children never watch TV, and that when a student begins to falter in studies, the first fear is that the child has started to watch TV.

"Why are we silent when the media makes money by provoking our children to have sex, when only disease can result? Why are we silent when the poisonous messages of a pagan program blares away in our homes every night? Why do we walk like sheep and take our children along when the media fiends beckon with their Siren Songs?" asked the rabbi.

"We are at war," said Rabbi Eidensohn, "but the only ones who know it are the child-molesters, the pedophiles, and those who support pedophilia and every other perversion."
