audio - Why We Must Battle the Gay Lobby Reply to Shmuely Boteach about Gay Marriage Homosexuality and the Holy Law The Bible, Religion and Homosexuality - Reply to a Gay: Why Do You Hurt Homosexuals? Book Segment 5 on Homosexuality. Lurian Cabala, Jewish Law, homosexuality and the bible and much more.
We address here, when we talk about homosexuality, two people. One, is the homosexual; for our purposes, the homosexual is a struggler, one who would rather not be a homosexual, one who wants heterosexual love but cannot find it. Our homosexual is a person whose family and friends are having heterosexual marriages and bringing children into the world, and he cannot go that way. His pain is something only he understands. The other person we address here is the person who wants to understand what the issues are for the homosexual Jew or really any religious person who realizes that he is going in the wrong direction, and can't stop. What are the issues? What solutions, if any, are available? Such a person may ask, "How can I help?" Unfortunately, the issue is very clouded. On the one hand, we have a terrific battle going on among therapists. Can homosexuality be changed? Recently, the debate is, "should homosexuality be changed?" or does changing one's sexual preference indicate a prejudice against homosexuality? We also have a mighty war going on between the Gay Lobby and the Religious community. Leviticus teaches that homosexuality is an "abomination," and the Gay Lobby considers this hate talk or incitement. In Europe and Canada, the bible is considered incitement. What are the facts? We offer here some articles that shed light on this topic. What does the Bible Say about Homosexuality? Prominent Israeli therapist Adam Jessel writes on : Curing Same Sex Attraction Dr. Marty Koretsky writes, Homosexuality and Psychology Jonah's therapist Rabbi Rosenberg interviewed, "Father and Son" Halacha guidance for homosexuals is offered by Rabbi Eidensohn, who disputes the claim that one may be a practicing homosexual and an Orthodox Jew. Those of us with compulsive behavior problems may want to read Rabbi Eidensohn's article on "When Commands are Too Hard."
The key book to read on this is Jeffrey Satinover, M.D.'s "Homosexuality and the Politics of Truth." Dr. Satinover is a brilliant doctor, therapist and physicist who lectured at Harvard and Yale. His book records the major issues and studies about homosexuals and curing them. Dr. Satinover concludes that hojmosexuals can and do change to become heterosexual, whereas the gay lobby uses politics to pervert science. Commentary: The War with the Gay Lobby Social commentary on the gay issue is offered at www.gendercentral.com, although we will offer some commentary here as well. The religious and family community is threatened by the Gay Lobby in many ways. How? How do we respond? These are important issues addressed by the commentary below.
